Hi,

I am beginner of TMS470M.

I don't know about HET module. According to the TRM, TMS470M does not have original counters. But 470M has HET RAM. This HET RAM area is used as 32bit or 64bit counter. Is my understanding wright?

My customer would like to use HET like as general purpose timer. Is it possible? If you have HET summary document and sample code how to use HET, please give it to me.

Michi,

To start with HET I recommend to use our HET GUI (Simulator and code debug)
It is available for download at: http://www.ti.com/tool/het_ide

Also you can use HalCoGen to generate your startup code and HET initialization.
HalCoGen also provide basic code example for HET.
It can be downloaded at: http://www.ti.com/tool/halcogen
