TMS570 Hercules board not connecting with XDS560v2 TMS emulator

We recently purchased XDS560V2 STM emulator and I would like to try it out with one of the TI’s TMS570 development boards. I have been working with MSBTMS570 and Hercules boards using their XDS100v2 emulation for the past two years. I connected the new (Spectrum Digital) emulator and set up the target connection to use this emulator. We purchased CCS4 and I registered my installed copy and got the license file (I’m using CCS4 version 4.2.5). After successfully lunching TI Debugger I was still unable to connect to the target. I got the following error message pop up when trying to connect to target:

“ Error 1170… Unable to access DAP”.

I have opened a ticket on Spectrum Digital site, with their Help Desk and their engineer, Michael Strain after consulting with their experts, advised me to :

1) Limit the TCK speed to 10MHz or less. I have not seen and real TCK issue below this frequency.

2) Set Access Port Designator to 0x02000100.

I did as he suggested, but I am still getting the same error. Michael suggested me to contact TI for help on settings for their emulator with TI boards.

Can someone help me to make this emulator work?

Alex.
