Using nowFlash with XDS560v2 USB emulator

I am using nowFlash utility to program compiler output file containing corresponding ECC (nowECC combined output file) on MCBTMS570 board. Until now I was using XDS100v2 emulator. Can I use XDS560v2 USB emulator with this utility? I don't see this emulator in the selection box in nowFlash GUI.

Hello Alex,

It might work using the TIXDS560, but I would need to locate a XDS560v2 to verify this. You may also want to give UniFlash a try. This will be the replacement for nowFlash and it supports all emulators supported by CCS.

Hello John,

Is there a complete installation file download for UniFlash or during installation process of UniFlash, Internet Connection is needed even though the file is already downloaded to PC?

From my understandings, the UniFlash installer should be standalone and does not need internet access during installation.

Can you please send me your UniFlash InstallJammer logs for analysis? You should be able to find the files at the following location:

C:\Program Files\InstallJammer Registry\uniflashv1\

Please zip this folder up and email it to me (my email is available in my profile). Also, can you let me know which version of UniFlash you are trying to install?
