Wrong link of TMS570LS31 Technical Reference Manual?

Hello.

Two month ago I downloaded from

  http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/arm/hercules_arm_cortex_r_safety_microcontrollers/arm_cortex_r4/tms570ls/tech_docs.page?rootFamilyId=3000&familyId=3012&docCategoryId=6

the technical reference manual for the TMS570LS31, i.e. the one with the title "TMS570LS31x/21x 16/32-Bit RISC Flash Microcontroller Technical Reference Manual". I received a pdf with the name spnu499.pdf, version information September 2012, and it has 1795 pages.

If I download the same document today, I receive a document which has the same name, BUT with version information September 2011 and it has 2000 pages?!? (Additional confusion: As date next to the title "TMS570LS31x/21x 16/32-Bit RISC Flash Microcontroller Technical Reference Manual" is stated 13 Sep 2012.)

Two questions:

1. Can you explain this behavior?

2. Which document should I use now, the one from 2011 or 2012?

Regards

Oliver.
