CMSIS Support for TMS470M

Hi,

I am currently evaluating the TMS470M running a FreeRTOS port. I've noticed that the Stellaris Cortex-M3 processors have CMSIS, is there equivalent CMSIS support for the 470M, and if not, would it be possible to modify CMSIS for Stellaris to work on the 470M?

Thanks,

Aiste

  • Aiste,

I am not aware of CMSIS support for TMS470M. You should be able to modify CMSIS for Stellaris for TNS470M. The core peripheral access layer should be the same if CPU is the same. You will need to modify the device peripheral access layer to match the peripherals on TMS470M.

Please let me know if your question is answered.

    Thanks and regards,

    Zhaohong

  • Hi Aiste,

Have you found the CMSIS support for 470M, or did you get the CMSIS file for Stellaris Cortex-M3 correctly modified and let it work for your 470? I am evaluating RM57L and have been searching quite a while for its CMSIS support.
  • Dear Mr. Zhaohong Zhang

I am evaluating RM57L evaluation kit and have been searching quite a while for its CMSIS support. Must I also modify the CMSIS for Stellaris? Any there any Cortex-R5F based boards whose CMSIS file are officially provided?
