We have received 2 nos of Hercules development kit RM48HDK today..
1. During the first installation, CC studio didnt get installed, but other software like Halcogen,safety MCU Demo, NOWEcc and NOWFlash got installed. Also the board was not detected when plugged in.
2. So we uninstalled all the softwares and installed again. Now again CC studio didnt get installed, but other software like Halcogen,safety MCU Demo, NOWEcc and NOWFlash got installed. Now the board is detected and we were able to download the demo program into the kit and verify the demo programs using the Safety MCU demo application.
3. Then we tried to install the CCstudio using the setup file "ccs_setup_5.1.1.00031.exe" given in the DVD. But it gives an error message.
4. Then we tried to install the CCstudio using the setup file "ccs_setup_4.0.0.0.exe" given in the DVD. It starts to install and then the window suddenly disappears.
5. We are in windows XP, SP3. We are in admin mode.
Please let us know if we are missing something and how to install the CCStudio.
