Greetings everyone,
My name is Chris and I need some advice in chosing a stellaris dev. board. I have a project in school to program a graphical touchscreen display. So far I've been using cortex M3 architecture processors, but they were recently labelled as obslete hence the m4 came out. For now there is no stellaris m4 with touchscreen dev. board, or I couldn't find one. The only purchasable m3 board is the 9d96, which is brutally expensive. I wanted to buy a 9b96 but it's no longer available. I can buy a 9b92, but that won't necessarily come with a display.
So my question is which board should I buy to have the cheapest solution for a programmable graphical touchscreen board? Should I buy a 9b92 and an external LCD? Does TI has seperate LCDs? If not I have to write the pinout and driver for myself? Or is it possible that some guys dig up the old boxed for a 9b96?:)
