We will use the microcontroller mentioned in the title, for an application of safety plc. The microcontroller is powered by the TPS65381 ,component that is recommended for this type of application.
I have the following questions:
What is the total current consumption of RM48Lx50??
What type of memory ideal for interconnected to it?

Guilherme,

The typical core current consumption is 240mA. It should not exceed 400 mA from the datasheet. We in the process of updating online data sheet. The EMIF module supports the connection to SDRAM and asynchronous RAM. If you have something specific in consideration, we can help you to see if it is compatible.
