GCC / GNU assembler and startup code

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HALCOGEN

Dear all,

currently HalCoGen does support and generate code for TI CCS, IAR and ARM (so means Keil).

Does HalCoGen team plan to add the support for GNU / GCC? Yes, that is not so huge job to convert e.g. IAR assembler to GNU one for "basic" ASM code but it would be more straightforward to have such nice feature integrated in your tool ;-) On one hand there is ASM, on other hand pragma directives in C as well as linker script shall be also considered, of course...

In this post an example of GCC startup code for TMS570 was required - please, is that already available?

Thanks in advance,

cheers, Jiri
