Are there plans for Cortex M4 MCUs with an external peripheral interface, like what is available on some of the M3 devices?  Can M4 MCUs connect to external parallel memory or peripherals?

    Blechman,

    We do not currently have any LM4Fxxx products that are sampling that offer the EPI peripheral, but will in the next generation.  You can contact your local sales representative to obtain a road map with dates.

    You can use the SSI to interface to external memory, and for the other external peripherals...it will depend on type.
