Hello.

I am using the F021 flash API to erase the internal flash memory RM48.

However, the program is stopped in the process to initialize flash bank.

The program was written by Halcogen, Flash area is bank0.

I source attached to the screen and program debugging of the situation, do you please kindly to analyze the source.

Bongju,

Form your project, I see that you want to erase a block in bank 0 while running your code also from bank 0. This operation is not supported. You can only erase/program a bank with code running from RAM or another Flash bank.

However, it sometimes occurs, the CPU does not start.

Bongju,

For programming the flash from bootloader, you can check the following link. The bottom line is that Flash API needs to run from RAM.

For the start up problem, you need to first check if your bootloader starts correctly. If bootloader does not start correctly, you can use the code in the above link as reference. If it is your application, you can replace the code at the address 0x80000 (beginning of your application with "b #-8". When you connect debugger to CPU, you will see that PC is "locked" there and you can debug from there. You need to set a breakpoint and always run to it from the beginning. Do not stepping. If you enabled any interrupts in the bootloader, you need to disable them and clean up all pending flags before jumping to application.

I check your boot loader program.
My boot loader and in this program, see the section "RAM Start" and it works well.
You sent the boot loader does file transfer protocols.
PC-side program using hyper terminal (Y-MODEM). Download-only program?
