Stellaris Launchpad additional USB examples and labs (Includes gamepad and combination Keyboard+Mouse device)

For those of you attempting to build USB devices in CCS I put together some additional Launchpad examples as well as a lab type walkthrough of how to create custom devices using some shortcut code (mainly HID based). This includes combination HID devices which don't currently work using the composite code in the 9453 library.

Included

1) Examples ported to the Launchpad - Mouse, Keyboard, Composite (Hid+CDC)

2) Updated HID header file with additional device and usage types

3) A new device type called usbdhidcustom - This allows you to make new devices with minimal code changes

4) A complete document in lab type format where you build a volume control device, a gamepad and a keyboard + mouse based on usbdhidcustom

5) Completed projects to go with the labs (Volume Control, Gamepad, Keyboard + Mouse device).

I just had a quick peek. I am impressed at the attempt at good clean documentation -- before I even look at the code.

Even if the code did not work I would be impressed with documentation and organization.

I will see if I can have a look at these projects -- but I do not have the USB adapters -- so I have to get a small hub -- or something -- first.

Did you test through a hub -- or direct connect? I am guessing hub since multiple connects would be required.

And more thorough reading tells me that you are trying to make the launchpad look like different devices as opposed to hooking those devices to the launchpad? Correct?

Correct this documentation/examples allow a launchpad to act as a variety of different USB devices. Unfortunately the launchpad does not support Host mode so can't natively access a USB device.

Jeff,

I am working on a custom hid project and would like to compare to your files. I can't find a link/download location that you refer to in your posting. I thought files were at the bottom of a post but I don't see them.
