The Stellaris has CAN capability, so to enable the community to leverage it a booster pack would be very helpful. For example, there are products for OBD to serial available (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9555). I envision a booster pack that contains an interface to an OBD cable and an SD card to log the relevant parameters from OBD that someone may want to track. A software example of extracting the vehicle speed and logging it to the SD card would show how to use the new booster pack.
If you add a CC4000 GPS to the booster pack, then the Stellaris would have access to speed and heading from the car and GPS measurements. This would be a great tool for development of GPS+sensor blending. I know how to do the blending, but need help in creating the hardware.
