continue after breakpoint problem

Using CCS and launchpad LM4F120. Having reached a breakpoint in the debugger, pressing "play" does not continue the execution, I find if I do a single step then press "play" the execution continues as expected. Obviously this is not a huge issue, but wondered if I had something set up wrong?

    Might you be "breaking" upon a "critical" point w/in your code? 

    And - does this effect manifest many times - at widely different points w/in your code?  If yes - would seem that you have some setting out of whack.  Don't like/use single source limited CCS - so cannot assist w/specific.  Can advise that "real/pro" IDEs (i.e. vendor agnostic - Keil/IAR) suffer no such limitation - and this would be a, "big-deal" to any commercial endeavor...

    Since you have provided no code -- and we have no idea what might be there we would need to depend on a crystal ball to divine what might, or might not, be at the offending spot.

    Alas only Andy Neil possesses said "professional instrument" and he has not seen fit to respond. Perhaps his crystal ball is now NRND (Not Recommended for New Divinations).

    If you want help from the mere mortals on the group I suggest you post some code.

    Hi Guys, thanks for the support here. The problem is not code specific, it happens on all my projects wherever I put the breakpoint so there was no point in posting code. I was hoping somebody familiar with CCS would say - oh yes you've got a setting wrong. Eclipse is so full of cryptic and obscure settings I've probably tweaked one of them wrongly!
