HET IDE ver 3.3 problem

Hello Sunil,

I am following the steps described in TI's document SPRAB0B(page 5),  Instead of Figure 2  I get:

No device, no registers shown up. I am runing HET IDE on Win7.

Please help.

Hi Jun,

Please confirm that you are using the latest version of the NHET IDE utlity. I followed the instructions in http://www.ti.com/lit/an/spraba0b/spraba0b.pdf and got the selected device showing up in the project properties.

You can also manually set the device used by right-clicking on the project name in the "Project Explorer". Can you try if you can set the device to be used using this method?

HET IDE: Release: 3.3 Date: 30 Jan 2012.

I did try "manually" to set the device and clock as you suggested, but I still got nothing shown up.

I see the device name as well as the N2HET module registers when I just open the project that you attached. See attached.

I would recommend uninstalling and re-installing the HET IDE. Also remember to right-click on the .exe file and choose to "Run as Administrator".

Hi Sunil,

I followed your recommendation, uninstalled the HET IDE, re-installed it by right click .exe and "Run as Administrator". Then I try to creat a project as described in my first post. In the Output window I have

Connected to Simulator
Starting the simulator ....
Constructed frontend interface 1 ...

and stuck. Again no device no registers shown up.

Please help.
