Hi!
Newbie questions, again.
I have the RM48 HDK.
How can I know the sizes of the caches (L1, L2/I,D)? And how can I dynamically see them? I want to program something that displays the filling percentages of caches...
Regards,
Pierre.

Hi Pierre,
The RM48x MCUs do not contain any instruction or data caches. These MCUs are built using a "tightly-coupled memory" (TCM) architecture for the Cortex-R4F CPU's program and data memories. The sizes of the CPU tightly-coupled memories are specified in the datasheets. The RM48L952 MCU supports 3MB of TC flash as program memory and 256KB of TC RAM as data memory.

Pierre,
The boxes in this figure with the dotted outlines show optional components. The RM48x MCUs implement all the components shown in this figure except for the instruction and data caches.
