making a switch to LM4F

Hi,

We have a number of new LM4F232H5QD evaluation boards to be be used by students in a lab, instead of the previous platform.

(Now I have doubts if it was a good move, seeing how LM3S was abandoned.)

I already posted here http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/p/249507/875066.aspx#875066 asking

for help with project export/import with CCS, but maybe someone here will have a good advice/solution for me.

It is related to qs-logger project and possibly more people visit this forum than the tools forum.

These instructions are very helpful. When applying them to the ek-lm4f232 board, though, remember to set the correct Stellaris part number (lm4f232h5bb) and replace TARGET_IS_TEMPEST_RB1 with TARGET_IS_BLIZZARD_RA1.

Pardon - meeting calls - but is "h5bb" correct?

My group was one of few who received very first 232's - and these were BGA - and IIRC - bore the bb suffix.

Newer parts bear H5QR suffix - and all are QFP! Again - this all from (bit cloudy) 8-9 month past memory...

Sorry! I got my package code wrong. The part on the board is, of course, an lm4f232h5qd which is a QFP package and not the BGA (lm4f232h5bb). From the compiler's perspective, it won't matter but it's better to select the right thing in case anyone needs to check pin assignments, etc.
