Question about registration of VID/PID

Once you have your own VID, you can assign yourself PIDs for your products.

As I can see in the link above this registration is not free?

TI has promises free registration.

My apologies.  Your first inquiry mentioned obtaining your own VID/PID. 

That form is correct and I believe still is submittable.  It allows you to become a sub-licensee of our VID and you are given your own PID for your product.
