Hello,

I created a freertosblinky application as the demo says in halcogen, but the program get in the dataentry intvect.

I`m working with the halcogen v3.0

In the past I worked with the halcogen v2.8 which has mixed the boxes in my screen. But the same demo configuration worked fine and led blinked.

Do you know any trouble in the halcogen or some other generation fail should lead to wrong demo.

Because when I select the TMDX570LS20SMDK then I can set the RTI options, when I select TMDX570LS216SZWT_FREERTOS then I cant see the tab.

I`m use the Kil TMDX570LS20SMDK which has the TMDX570LS216SZWT cpu.

What is the difference betwee the two option? And what should I correct to clean the interrupts?

The FreeRTOS port in HALCoGen uses RTI for it's tick, The RTI module is configured with in the freeRTOS file not in the "rti.c".

Hence if you select TMDX570LS20SMDK you will see RTI option and no freeRTOS. In TMDX570LS216SZWT_FREERTOS we do not want user to disturb the RTI configured via freeRTOS with user custom "rti.c" driver.

And the example blinkyfreertos is worked for you on TMDX570LS20SMDK panel? because the program halts on the dataentry interrrupt.

The older halcogen (2.8) generated code works.

The newer one not (3.0) - I try to compare the files but a lot of files changed,in the freertos core too.

And after the example I got error when I set the following in halcogen

Configure Interrupt handling:

Enable SVC
Enter FreeRTOS SVC handler name 'vPortYieldProcessor'
Select IRQ dispatcher mode
Enter FreeRTOS IRQ handler name '_IsrStub' ->compile error.

Hope you have followed the help, where snapshots of the HALCoGen configuration are given?

It would be helpful if you attach the HALCoGen Pjt ( .hcg and .dil)

I done everything as the example wrote. But _IsrStub is undefinied so I set the IRQ to vector mode (ldr pc,[pc,#-0x1b0] and enabled the IRQ handling via VIC conroller checkbox).

But I get the following warnings

warning: creating output section ".kernelHEAP" without a SECTIONS

specification

warning: creating output section ".kernelTEXT" without a SECTIONS

specification

these are in os_heap and other os_ files which are generated.

I dont know what is the difference between you and my Halcogen bt they generates newer FReeRTOS files 7.4 while mine is 7.3

A lot of generated files are differs to .

Can you tell me which halcogen should I use?

I used 3.05.00 version (Sorry about that, I accidentally used the internal version before it was released)

No worries, exact same version is now available from www.ti.com/tool/halcogen
