I'm trying to use the "DRV8301_RM48_FOC_SMO_wEncoder" solution of MotorWare in CCS v5.3 with DRV8301-HC-EVM RM48 board and a permanent magnet synchronous motor with 5 pole pairs. I connected the motor connections U,V,W to A,B,C; changed the pole pairs to 5 and encoder line counts to 256 inside the code. I set the EnableFlg to 1, set and reset the CalibrateEnable flg, set CtrlType to 1 (Torque Control), set Iqref to "0.2" and can spin the motor in one direction (CCW) while the motor vibrates and makes a sound when I set Iqref to "-0.2" and in no way spins to that direction. Do you have any idea why the solution works for only one direction?
