PWM Update

Looking for a processor for a new project. LM4F232 comes to mind. However, when looking at the data manual, I noticed that the PWM in LM4F232 can only be updated when PWM counter is zero. This feature will affect some systems that requires high performance. Any comments?

    Might this be an internal mechanism - dictated by ARM?   Are not similar restrictions found w/in MCU's offered by other ARM M4 makers?

    Counter you reference dictates the PWM frequency too - so trade-offs can be made.

    Which MCU can you cite (w/in this price/performance category) able to avoid this limitation?
