Not entering to the Main function in TMS570LS20216SPGE

Hi All,

I have two type of source code available with me.

1. Demo_Software ( received together with the TMS570LS USB stick).

2. Hello World Example from CCSv5  IDE.

Demo_Software is working perfectly fine and there is no issue when i want to debug the code.

Whereas in a very basic "hello world" example, I am unable to enter into the main function when I am debugging.

I dont have an y clues about what went wrong.

Please support me if anyone of you know the solution.

    Hi,

    It looks like the Hello World CCS5 project does not have the required startup and initialization files that HALCoGen generates, but only a hello world.c file.

    Use HALCoGen to generate a startup and you can incorporate the hello world into that.

    Thanks for your information.

    In suggested forum, I have downloaded the code and it is working perfectly fine.

    Is it possible for me to know what are all the startupfiles are required exactly?.

    Actually I have refered the videos of "EricScottVideos" for SysBios.

    In this set of videos, we have a video called " LAB_2A_Intro_to_CCS".

    In this reference video, they are directly using the hello world example for debugging and going further.

    This hello world example is already available with CCSv5 Tool itself and they have not added any startup codes.

    Please advise me.
