In HalCogen 3.05 a start of the tool without an active Internet Connection takes approximately 20 seconds before it . If the PC is online, the start is ok.

In previous Versions this offline failure was not present.

    Hi Frank,

    We have added an auto update check while opeinig HALCoGen, which caused the delay.. We will fix this in upcoming release.

    Meanwhile, if you want to start HALCoGen quicker, go to HALCoGen Install directory ( C:\ti\Hercules\HALCoGen\v03.05.00)  and rename HCG_updater.ini to HCG_updater_bk.ini.
    THis will make sure update check is skipped and HALCoGen should start fast.

    Note: With the above workaround Auto update will not work even if the PC is online.
