When enabling the CCM - selftest in HalCoGen3.05 the source file "sys_selftest.c" is generated. This file contains a function "ccmSelfCheck()". When the code is started, it calls this function and then hangs forever in line 36, where it waits for the finishing of the selftest. What could be the problem?

Hi Frank,

Are you running CCM self-test in debug mode? CCM selftest can not be run in debug mode.

thanks for your answer. Yes, I am running the code in CCS in a debug perspective and I know that in standalone mode the CCSM self-test is working. My question was more related to possible improvements:

(a) some comment in HalCoGen, that if CCM selftest is enabled and the code is tested in a CCS debug perspective, it will not work. Customers should be aware of this problem, when they enable this option inHalCoGen.

(b) some roadmap, if/when the silicon part of the JTAG - connection will be changed to overcome this problem.

We can certainly add comment mentioned in your suggestion (a).

On (b), we have to look at this architecturally. we will get back to this later on.
