LM4F120H5QR set stack and heap size

Hi,

I'm using stellaris launchpad LM4F120H5QR .

I want to set the stack and the heap size.

I can see that in file LM4F120H5QR.icf the settings are as follows:

stack size = 0x800

heap size = 0x2000

I wish to set the values to others (heap size = 0, stack size = 0x200) but I can't find the setting in the project properties.

Is this on purpose?

I thought changing the icf file but its header says: /*###ICF### Section handled by ICF editor, don't touch! ****/

Please assist.

Hi Yael,

What sample program from stellarisware are you working on?

If you want to modify stack and heap size, you should be looking at the file startup_xxxxx.s.

If you are using CCS: Project --> Properties --> Build --> ARM Linker --> Basic Options --> Set C system stack size / Heap size for C/C++ dynamic memory allocation
