Hercules CNCD SCI Problem

I can't seem to make the SCI of  the DRV 8301-RM48 kit work. I'm using the J12 pins of the kit (which are GPIO/SCI pins according to the hw guide) and using the example project SCI_UART_RM48, but cannot see any data sent or received -even by using an oscilloscope. I've attached my modified SCI_UART_9600_RM48 project to the post.

    Hi Asaygl,

          Your code is correct.  Our RM48 control card embeds USB-Serial chip FT232.    You can use the terminal in CCS or a  Serial debugging tool to get the data that you send out(the data in your codes is 0xBA).  If you want to use oscilloscope to monitor the SCI2, you must weld R78  and R79 with a 0 ohm resistor. Then you will see the waveform on the oscilloscope.
