HET IDE for TMDX570LS31HDK

Hi,

I'm trying the HET IDE for TMS570LS31 (Hercules HDK) but this HW version is not listed in the New Projct device settings.

The HET IDE I've got is reported (from Help->About) as Release 1.0 instead of v3.3 as reported in the web page.

I've downloaded the spnc016.zip installer but the version remains 1.0.

What to do?

Hi Matteo,

Sorry for the delay in answering.

I installed the IDE on my machine and was able to run it fine as version 3.3. Can you completely uninstall the IDE and install it again using the zipped file from the web page? It may be the case that you are running an older version of the IDE that has not been uninstalled yet and which did not get updated correctly.

Hi Sunil,

The trik that works was to uninstall both "Nhet ide" and "Synapticad EDA suite" before runnung the updated installer.

BTW: starting a new project on HET IDE for Hercules Development Kit (TDX570LS31HDK) I can to choose "TMS570LS31XXZWT" or "TMS570LS31XXPGE" . Which one is the right one for my HW?

The part used on the HDK is TMS570LS31XXZWT.
