Where is the Stellaris PinMux Utility?

Now - have you a, "general listing" of such ti.com "Sites of Special Interest" to we Stellaris & newer users?  Expect that not all listings will be complete - but such guidance should reduce, "wear/tear" upon you and other staff...  And - if deemed worthwhile - may even deserve a "sticky" promotion - a la your JTAG (top this forum).

It is a shame it is a windows program. Any chance a Linux or web based version could happen?

Does a "real" Linux guy/gurl need such a crutch?  (and can that tool alert/catch dreaded use of NMI pin w/out earlier "unlock?")

Might the real "shame" be the choice of so complex a device - and then the avoidance of that complexity?

Now, now, that is a bit unreasonable. It may be more complex than a Z80 but that is no reason to avoid it.

Also the engineer in me says if the "crutch" can save time use it, no need to reinvent the wheel and time is money.

Mais certainement mon ami - mais certainement.

That said - near 1400 page tech manuals are not fun to write.  (I participated - past life)  Factory very much had justification for providing such detail.

My point - far too often the "crutch" delays and lessens, "real understanding, mastery."  And it is the recognition/discovery of, "uh-oh" - later in a project (rather than sooner) which really eats time & money.  (can you say, "board-respin, SW not fully covering every possibility?")  (do not ask, "How I know...")

Shortcuts are great - welcome - but must be used with the awareness that, "devil very often in the details" - and shortcuts alone may not fully/properly protect...
