5v tolerance on CAN Port

Hello,

I am using a TMS570LS3137 MCU and want to connect a well established CAN Transceiver with 5V TTL Voltag on CAN1 and CAN3. Are these CAN Ports 5V tolerant or do I need level shifting?

Hello Lorenz,

The CAN port on the LS3137 is not 5V-tolerant. Only the ADC on the LS31x/LS21x/LS12x/LS11x MCUs is capable of a 5V input if their ADC supply (VCCAD) is also 5V.
