A few days ago I got a CCS 5.4 crash as somebody tried to link
a win32 .exe file into a CCS project (he did that accidentally). The PC
showed a blue-screen (XP) and only could be reactivated
by a power down. After a new XP boot CCS started again
but lost its license so we decided to de- and reinstall it.
After the new install was made CCS doesnt want to start
again showing a long list of linking errors (in the installation log)
with Eclipse..
Looking for a possible solution I found some similar
problem people had with their CCS installations.
As we could solve the problem we hope
the following will help them too.
Try out this:
Again uninstall CCS and most important remove all directories bundled
with Ecplise. We also had to remove additional
programs which had been associated with CCS and
are located in the c:\ti\ directory.
After that a registry cleaning was made.
Finally another reboot and a clean new installation of CCS
solved the problem.
