Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TM4C123GH6PM

Hello,

Can you pleae provide the latest release scheudle for the Tiva 4: TM4C123GH6PM

Thank you.

  • Hi Rustin,

With the disclaimer that I'm in apps, not in marketing, but a quick check of the product folder on our website (http://www.ti.com/product/tm4c123gh6pm) indicates that this device is ACTIVE and is in full production.  So it should be available now.

    John

  • While it may be in production, it doesn't appear to be in stock anywhere. See:

    http://www.findchips.com/avail/?part=TM4C123GH6PM

  • Any more info about this please?

Might this fact - by itself - speak volumes?  Good grief!  (how long before marketing starts providing tech support?)

Might an apps guy - answering a clearly marketing question - provide, "cover?"

And - in light of  past "LX4F promotion to real LM4F" hiccups (to be kind) - might we loyal/hopeful user/specifiers be entitled to something beyond, "cover?"

  • cb1,

We have been prioritizing any customers' ramps to production these first few months, but the supply is now built up and the team is prioritizing getting disties stocked. We will start with the TI estore and expand out from there.

The parts are definitely in production.

  • @Miguel,

Thank you - clearly response from the (more) appropriate department (i.e. yours) adds comfort.

"Prioritizing" rather than "basic release" to disty stock seems bit outside, "normal/customary" - especially so in light of past delivery "issues."

Kindly note that "ramping" - when starting from at/about "ground zero" - may not offer ... hoped for, "warm/fuzzies..."

Parts "over-flowing" the (usual suspect) disty shelves - far better in that regard...
