Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83640, TMS570LS3137

It's also about the EMAC design problem about the TMS570LS3137 and the DP83640, if I use the MII mode only, is that ok to copy the TMS570 HDK design(the MII_RX_DV pull up)? Or just add a pull down resistor instead of pull up?
I notice that if the MII_RX_DV of the DP83640 is 0, the MII mode selected(DP83640 default is 0 because of the internal pull down ). But in the HDK design, the MII_RX_DV is pulled up, and still MII mode work, why is that? Is there any way to change the mode select?
