Hi,

I am searching for sample codes to establish ethernet communication between TMS570LS31x Hercules Development Kit (HDK) and PC. Also CAN commuication from this board to a picoollo control stick. where can i find them. pls provide a link.

I also have a query, that if i need to establish ethernet communication, which among the following boards i should go for,

1. TMS570LS31x Hercules Development Kit (HDK) OR

2. Stellaris LM3S8992 evaluation kit (EKT-LM3S8962)

I have forwarded your post to one of our experts to answer the TMS570 question. They will respond back soon.

On connecting the TMS570 to the piccolo using CAN, I am not sure such a document exists.

The expert I forwarded the question to can help with the TMS570 device, but you would need to post your question in the C2000 forum for the piccolo device.

Hi,

K. But I also need to implement Ethernet feature of TMS570 HDK board. U can at least help me with it . I want to transfer data from HDK development board to PC and vice versa through Ethernet and that too Real time. Are there any examples available?? I don't want it to b HTTP server (as it doesn't remain real time then) I need to access the data with in few Milli sec. max. Pls help

I can't tell from the thread, but did you try the lwIP / halcogen example here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/HALCoGen_Ethernet_Driver_and_lwIP_Integration_Demonstration.

Yes it demos as a webserver, but you can find other 'apps' from the lwip contrib repository: http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/lwip/lwip-contrib.git. They have things there like 'socket_examples' 'tcpecho' and 'udpecho' that you might find you are able to use.
