It is the same Real Time Interrupt module that is in the TMS470.  We are doing a custom device so right now we have the module in an FPGA.

Thanks Brandon, I saw this.  Do you know if there is an app note and sample code?

I am not aware of such an example. We used to have a page with these type of resources, www.ti.com/tms470, but it has been taken down since the '470 is NRND.
