I2C - Configure CLK Freq. Module

I am using the microcontroller TMS570LS3137.

I have initialized I2C module.

In order to configure ModuleClockFrequency, ¿What is the neme of CLK signal for I2C módule?, ¿Is VCLK?, I don´t know.

¿Is I2CInputClockFrequency defined as VCLK for example?

¿What register values for PSC and CLKH/L I need to configure SCL freq. at 100 KHz?

Yes it is VCLK, there's a clocking diagram in the datasheet (SPNS162A) that you can look at to find the clock for all the peripherals.

Hi David,

I2C module uses VCLK1. I recommend you to download HalCoGen. It is a very nice too to generate low level drivers for your CCS project.

If clock is set to 180Mhz, and VCLK1=90MHz, the clock setting for I2C is listed as below:

/** - set prescale */

i2cREG1->PSC = 10U;

/** - set clock rate */
i2cREG1->CLKH = 36U;
i2cREG1->CLKL = 36U;

Those number are generated by HalCoGen.
