Stellaris Launchpad + Windows CE ???

I see hints in the TI pages and slides that seem to indicate that the Stellaris ARM Cortex can run Windows CE.

Was hoping to verify right here before I jump through a bunch of hoops to try to make that happen.

Can anyone verify if I can run Windows CE on my Stellaris Launchpad?

How about the .Net Micro Framework?

Thanks!

  • Are you confusing Stellaris with Sitara?

Cortex M3/M4 microcontrollers (as found in the Stellaris family) are unlikely to run Windows CE, they don't have anywhere near the power or resources available.

You'd more likely need Cortex A8/A9 microprocessors as you can find in the OMAP and Sitara families.
