camera interface to TIVA C

Hi,

I'm a newbie and i'm learning. i have a little query regarding the camera interface to tiva c series

micro-controllers.

I'm planning to start a project with tiva c as the MCU, but i need liitle confirmation that is any camera interface is available

with any of the tiva series micro-controllers.

I want to capture video and store it, be it any resolution. I have done little search regarding the camera interface, came to know that there is an interface name CSI(camera serail interface) interface which is used in many CMOS image sensor. so, i want to know whether any of tiva series micro-controller support any type of video capturing.

Thanks in advance.

    And - here - a little response...

Camera interface has not been resident/included in past M3 - nor present M4.  (simple review of data sheets will confirm)

Beyond the capture - how/where do you plan to "store" such data?  These new devices max out (presently) @ 32KB - not much video can be accommodated.

Normal/customary solution sees bigger/faster MCU - w/address & data lines "friendly/accommodating" to appropriate, external memory.

This vendor's latest "Beagle" incarnation cries for your attention...  (and - with its necessary parts/complexity -  funds...)

Must say though - video as "newbie" project - not so much.  As video is composed of rapid, sequential image presentation - perhaps a safer/easier target for you would be one of the earlier Stellaris Graphic boards - which drive small, color TFT display.  While these are not intended for "video" - much can be learned - and later applied - to your (more distant) video objective...
