DMA HW request generation

Hi,

which is the easy way to generate DMA HW request at a fixed frequency?

Note: the request is used to transfer a RAM circular buffer to a fixed address so is not  linked to any particular device or function.

I'm working with a TMDX570LS32HDK

    This may be part of the confusion on the other mail related to HTU.

    We don't have TMDX570LS32HDK,   we have:

    I assumed you were talking about the bottom part because we have a part # TMS570LS0332.  This is our low cost part in the Hercules family and it does not have 3rd party DMA controller, just the dedicated HTU.   So the answer you are looking for will be very different if you're asking about this device or about the LS3137 device which is on the TMDX570LS31HDK  (not 32HDK).

    Please clarify.  The answer is a lot simpler for the TMDX570LS31HDK.
