Reconstructing an Halcogen project (mostly the DIL portion)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HALCOGEN

Hello,

I am playing with a few RM48 examples found in the CCS installation.

It looks like that the files were generated using Halcogen.

I wondered whether there was some tools to reverse the process and generate Halcogen .hcg and .dil files.
The purpose would be to reach the actual configuration parameters that were used to yield those generated files.
(for example, I can see the value set for the SCI baud rate generator, but there is no trace of the original value
which could have been provided in a comment in the generated code by the way...)

Thx,
Roland.

  • Hi Roland,

i am not aware of this capability, but I maybe wrong.

I will forward this to Halcogen owner to response to you.

  • Hi Roland,

I just had a look at the Examples that come with CCS, It look same as Example that come default with HALCoGen.

You can Install HALCogen, Run HALCoGen tool --> go to Help --> Examples.. Open the RM48 Folder to get the same file.

If you want the HALCoGen configuration details you can Run HALCoGen tool --> Help --> Help Topic --> Go to Example --> Choos the example you want.. This gives a snapshots of HALCogen configuration for that Example.

    Hope this Helps.

    Regards
