Hello Forum,
I'am using the TMS570LS3137 and want to use several Blocks of the Safety Functions.
Now I've the safety Library 0.9 and the code from HalCoGen.
Whats the difference of the scope of both Codes?

Hi Lorenz,
can you pls. send me the link to safety Library 0.9? Do you mean the codes for this link http://www.ti.com/lit/an/spna106d/spna106d.pdf?
Hello Henry,
I've got the Library mailed form your sales Representative in Munich under NDA and I couldn't find it on your Web-Page.
Hi,
I would like to pick up this topic.
Is there any recommendation when to use the selftest function of the the Diagnostic Lib and when to use the code generated by Halcogen?
IMO the Diagnostic Lib has advantages in regards of certification of a product. The Halcogen code is probably better approved, because it is used by customers for years.
Thanks for any suggestion

Ädu,
This looks like a good question to ask. I downloaded the safety library to check it out, it seems to have some overlap with HalCoGen but also rely on HalCoGen. I didn't find the documentation very clear on how to mix the two environments given this relationship so I'll do some resarch on this question.

Hello,
for new development, please plan on using the diagnostic APIs from the SafeTI Diagnostic Library.
We will provide a project as an example shortly to illustrate how to use the SafeTI Diagnostic Library in a HALCoGen generated framework.
Thanks and best regards,
