current consumption of tiva series TM4C123GHPM

When we tried to measure the current consumption(IDD RUN) considering the conditions of tiva series tm4c123h6pm evaluation board the frequency vs current consumption plot is found to be linear Upto 40MHz and shows drop in current consumption above 40MHz.we measured the current by removing the jumper and taking the current reading across the jumper points.in the datasheet for tm4c123h6pm the details are said to be pending.clarification required.

  • Hi Anoop,

I'm not sure when you checked the data sheet on the website.... the current consumption numbers have been updated within the last few and no longer say "pending."  Please pull the latest version off the website at http://www.ti.com/product/tm4c1231h6pm.

The current should increase as you increase frequency...if you are using the same clock configuration, for example: PLL on, MOSC as fundamental clock source.  Can you send me the source code for your system clock configuration?
