Hi,

I am writing a sample code for testing my customs PCB with a RM48L952 MCU. I want generate the code by HALCoGen 03.05.02.

Some pins which will be tested are belong to specified module like I2C, N2HET, DCAN, etc. But I just need them work in GIO.

I have few questions here.

Q1: If I disable a module in HALCoGen 03.05.02, What are the pins of the module will work.

Q2: How and where do I set and initialize the pins of module in HALCoGen 03.05.02.

Your question has been forwarded to HALCoGen team. Actually, You can write your own code to do it. By default, the I/O pins are GIO inputs. I believe that you need to "enable" the module to force it out of reset for using the I/O pins.

I think this link should have answers for your question..

Again there are modules like I2C, CAN have specific API's inside respective drivers you need not use GIO driver. The reson is these modules do not have the same register structures as other modules like NHET, GIO, MIBSPI, SPI, SCI, LIN. DMM, RTP etc which can be configured using GIO driver just passing the Port information.

Please refer the Technical reference Manula ( TRM ) for more details.
