problem with ADC channel0(PIN E3)

I have a problem in using ADC.While i'm using any channel,it gives the correct sampling result.But i found another fact that channel 0(pin E3 ) is always adc enabled.But if i select another channel,it gives me right output,but E3 is always ADC enabled.Then when i configured PIN E3 as output,this problem was cleared.Else ,pin E3 ia always ADC enabled.Why?

What TI microcontroller are you using? Much better if you post this at the appropriate forum, with more details.

I'm using stellaris launchpad(LM4F120H)

Then i made PE3 pin as output,it was ok.But i like to know its reason.please help

Much better if you re-post this at Tiva ARM Forum. Read this post. Also, post your code. There are lots of people there with LM4F120H launchpad experience.
