Hi,

I using TMS470M HDK Board, CCS 5.4 and HalCoGen 3.06.

I want capture this signal on the pin:

How to use correctly capGetSignal if it possible?

In my code, it often returns the value of the previous period and signal.duty = signal.period. when is this possible?

can you let us know which one is the one we need to look at? Sounds like you make some progress compare to other thread.

Thank you for your support.

This similar task and another solution. I was not able to run hetGetTimestamp instruction and capGetSignal does not give stable results.

I want to be able to work with both functions to select the most suitable for my task now and in the future.

hetGetTimestamp function is more interesting.

Hi Henry,

Our input signal has a variable period and variable duty.

We concluded that capGetsignal not adapted to receive the our signal correctly.
Incoming signal with a constant period and variable duty capGetsignal works perfect.

I can send you an example on how to use the HET codes and capture what you like to capture.

The measurable duty cycle has to be larger than or equal to 1 LRP cycle.

What is your smallest measurable duty cycle that you have to measure?

can you please let me know?
