CAN transceiver

I am using TIVA LM4F120H5QR board. It does not have a CAN transceiver.

Is peer to peer communication possible between the two boards (without transceiver) ?

    Hi,

    Absolutely not - you must add yourself the transceiver. The status of the line is checked at the beginning for bus arbitration - and only if a bus is free a transmission may begin.
