TIVA Software for Downloading not found.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SW-EK-TM4C123GXL

Hi,

I just bought a TM4C123GXL LaunchPad Evaluation Kit with the Sensor Hub Booster Pack.  It says in the documentation that I can find the software at:

http://www.ti.com/tm4c123g-launchpad

http://www.ti.com/tool/sw-ek-tm4c123gxl

However, it goes to the final step where I click to download, only to be greeted by the http 404 Page Not Found error.  So where can I find this software?  I'm trying to download the Code Composer version.

Sorry, I am not trusting that when I upgrade Code Composer (I run version 5.4.00091 - All Platforms License) that I automatically get the latest Stellaris/TIVA ware software (Never shows up in my Code composer option list)..

  • Hello J,

    Try this one; http://www.ti.com/tool/sw-tm4c.

This is the complete TivaWare package.

  • Thank-you, this worked although I had to use the link in the Download confirmation to get the file.  On the web browser, it did not go to the file when I pressed the Download button, but, instead gave me the page not found error.  When I clicked on the link in the E-mail, then the Browser did download the file.  Very interesting.

  • Typically, when a user receives a "page not found" error while trying to download any Tiva or Stellaris software, the error indicates that either the browser is calling an expired version of the page from the memory cache, or that there is a conflict with a "cookie" stored in the browser configuration files. To resolve the "page not found" error, try these steps:

    1. Delete all cookies set by TI.com in your browser configurations and history
    2. Delete all TI.com pages in your browser history
    3. Make sure that you allow “pop-up” ads from TI.com in your browser preferences
    4. Close all browser sessions
    5. Start a new browser session with one tab or window
    6. If you have received an approval to download the software via email, copy the link from the email to the address bar. Otherwise, navigate to the software folder you are trying to access.

The download (or export control form, which must be completed and approved) should then initiate.

You may also need to make sure that your antivirus program(s) are temporarily disabled. Additionally, depending on your corporate IT policies, file downloads above a certain size may be prevented by your firewall.

These steps have helped most users successfully resolve the "page not found" problem, regardless of the browser or version which they are using.

    Thanks,

    Joe
