problems with drivers on windows 8

I did try on a windows 8 system and the drivers are correctly installed and working.

If you have a error as access denied, are you sure to have administrator privilege when you log-on on your system?
This could be the reason of your problem.

Please check this and let me know.

I still believe that you are facing a privilege problem. I've search on the web and found a lot of hit on people (with admin user) having problem installing drivers.

Hi, I have a similar problem. I tried install Halcogen program in Windows 8, but within this appear some strange screens, as is shown below.

I don't know why it happens. I could not install the Safety MCU Demos. However my RM42xx Launchpad hercules is recognized by my system.
