Hi, I heard CAN bootloader for TMS470M series has been developed from Mr. QJ Wang by his replay on Apr 15 2013 10:44 AM when I post a question titled

"TMS470R1B1M bootloader code" in the forum on April 15.

May I know the path to access this source code?

Hi Jian,

I developed CAN bootloader for TMS470M. TMS470M is ARM Cortex-3 MCU. It is different from TMS470R1B1M. You can use it as a reference. Please tell me your email, I will send you the file.

Hi Jian,

TMS470R1 uses F05 flash, but TMS470M uses F035 flash. The API for F05 and F035 are different.

Hi Mr. Wang,

I'd like to develop a bootloader for TMS470R1B1M.the bootloader code will be at 0x00000000.

application code will be at 0x00020000.but I don't kwon how to setup the application interrupt vector to 0x20000.

HI QJ,

I am using TMS320F28035 as my Target MCU. So i want to write Bootloader code for my Target MCU so as to update MCU flash over the air.

In your can bootloader implementation with TMS470M MCU you are using NI USB 8473 CAN adapter as Host Device.This device is very costly.

So i wanted to ask whether i can use another TMS320f28035 as Master MCU which can work as UART to CAN messages converter ?
And also tell me challenges which i can face while migrating my code from TMS470M to TMS320f280x MCU.

PC (Data Source) <-->UART <--->MCU(master- TMS320F280x) <---> CAN <---> MCU (Target - TMS320f280x)
