I write software for the RM48L952. I use both N2HET modules:
- N2HET1 runs a custom het-assembler
- N2HET2 runs a het assembler generated by halcogen

I ported my existing N2HET application from HALCoGen 03.03.01 to 03.06.00.

Using the new generated files, both N2HET1 did not start. The reason is, that HALCoGen 03.06.00 configures both GCR registers to 0x01020001U instead of 0x01030001. The difference is bit 16 (CMS) which is set to "slave" for both N2HET modules.

Please allow the following questions:
- Where can I find documentation of the multi het sync feature? I did not find any except for the register description.
- Is it correct to configure the GCR of both N2HET to 0x01030001 to run both N2HET independently?

The interconnection between the 2 N2HET can be found in the Datasheet on page 132.

It is valid to use the 2 H2HET in master mode. In this case the 2 N2HET are not synchronized and will run independently.

Thank you very much for your answer.

I would be glad, if you could fix the following issues in the next HALCoGen revision:
- Provide GUI options to configure the synchronization state of the N2HET
- Provide user sections that allow to overvwrite the GCR register
- Change the default configuration of the N2HET such that they start (e.g. one master, one slave or both master). In the current configuration, both are configured as slave and not running therefore.
