Having Problems Downloading Tiva Software? Read This

Typically, when a user receives a "page not found" error while trying to download any Tiva or Stellaris software, the error indicates that either the browser is calling an expired version of the page from the memory cache, or that there is a conflict with a "cookie" stored in the browser configuration files. To resolve the "page not found" error, try these steps:

  1. Delete all cookies set by TI.com in your browser configurations and history
  2. Delete all TI.com pages in your browser history
  3. Make sure that you allow “pop-up” ads from TI.com in your browser preferences
  4. Close all browser sessions
  5. Start a new browser session with one tab or window
  6. If you have received an approval to download the software via email, copy the link from the email to the address bar. Otherwise, navigate to the software folder you are trying to access.

The download (or export control form, which must be completed and approved) should then initiate.

You may also need to make sure that your antivirus program(s) are temporarily disabled. Additionally, depending on your corporate IT policies, file downloads above a certain size may be prevented by your firewall.

These steps have helped most users successfully resolve the "page not found" problem, regardless of the browser or version which they are using.

Update 03-Sept-2013:

We discovered this week that the current release of Firefox (v23.0.1) contains some type of script that interferes with software downloads from TI.com. Of course, this impacts a good deal of Stellaris and Tiva software. We have tested downloads with both IExplorer and Chrome, and both of these browsers have no problems with downloads at all.

If you are having problems downloading TI software, please try the download using either Chrome or Internet Explorer.
